Strange things are happening to me... [Toy Story]

How's this for an example of weird events that happen to me...

2 months after a property closed/funded, 2 months after the deed was put into the new buyer's name...  a mistake was made where the asset manager ordered a home to be "re-keyed".  The "re-keying" company came out to the home - drilled out the door knobs (not sure how this is done), and put in all new locks on the home.

I am not sure how I would have felt - being the new homeowner with the mistake of re-keying my home - but who cares about my feelings...  turns out - it worked out fine.  The previous listing agent did her absolute best to take care of the new homeowner (not even her client) - and everything was smoothed over.

Goes to show you that Yes - believe it or not - people can make honest mistakes.  But, more importantly, it is a great agent that is worth more than their commission...  this was after the sale, after the commission check had been deposited, after all had been closed up, and wasn't even her client.

Thanks Cheryl H.V. for being an example to all the whiners, average agents, out there on how to step over being "average" and go beyond what is expected or required.  This is how you succeed in this tough world of Real Estate.

Post your story of simple, or grand examples of what an agent did that made a difference - when his/her commission wasn't apart of the equation.
